Instructions

  • Prepare the Glass: Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water. Let it sit while you prepare the cocktail.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, cherry liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup. Add ice to fill the shaker halfway.
  • Shake Well: Shake the mixture vigorously for about 20 seconds to ensure it’s well-chilled and mixed.
  • Prepare the Glass: Empty the ice water from the martini glass.
  • Strain and Serve: Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish: Garnish with a couple of fresh cherries on a cocktail pick or drop them directly into the glass.

Tips:

  • For a sweeter drink, add a bit more simple syrup.
  • If you prefer a stronger cherry flavor, use cherry-flavored vodka instead of regular vodka.
  • Fresh lime juice is best, but bottled can be used in a pinch.
