Ingredients

  • 10 mint leaves
  • 1/2 lime cut into 4 wedges
  • 1/2 oz granulated sugar
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • Club soda
  • cranberries and mint sprig for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Muddle Ingredients: In a sturdy glass, muddle the mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar. Press gently to release the lime juice and mint oils, but don’t pulverize the mint.
  • Add Cranberry Juice and Rum: Pour in the cranberry juice and white rum. Stir well to mix the ingredients.
  • Fill with Ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving some room at the top for club soda.
  • Top with Club Soda: Top off the drink with club soda, stirring gently to combine.
  • Garnish: Garnish with a few fresh cranberries and a sprig of mint for a festive touch.
