Try this Mermaid Lemonade recipe for a refreshing, tropical drink with a fun twist. Perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • ½ ounce orange juice
  • 1 ½ ounces white rum
  • ½ ounce blue Curaçao
  • 4 ounces lemonade
  • 4 inch round piece of blue cotton candy optional
  • ¼ teaspoon turquoise luster dust optional
  • Pineapple wedge for garnish
  • Maraschino cherry for garnish

Instructions

Mix the Juices:

  • In a shaker, combine the pineapple juice and orange juice.

Add the Alcohol:

  • Add the white rum and blue Curaçao to the shaker.

Shake it Up:

  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until the mixture is chilled.

Prepare the Glass:

  • Fill a tall glass with ice. Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.

Add Lemonade:

  • Pour the lemonade into the glass, giving it a gentle stir to combine.

Optional Sparkle:

  • If using turquoise luster dust, add it now and stir gently to distribute the shimmer.

Garnish:

  • Garnish the drink with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.

Optional Cotton Candy:

  • For a fun twist, place the blue cotton candy on top of the glass. Pour a bit of lemonade over it to dissolve and add sweetness to the drink.
