Ingredients

  • 0.75 ounce gin
  • 0.75 ounce white vermouth
  • 2 drops vanilla extract
  • Pear cider to top
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • Cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Lemon peel, rosemary or thyme sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • Infuse the vermouth: In a small container, combine the white vermouth with the vanilla extract, cinnamon stick, cloves, and ground ginger. Allow the mixture to infuse for at least 30 minutes (the longer you leave it, the more intense the flavors will be).
  • Once the vermouth has infused, strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer to remove the spices.
  • Fill a Rocks glass with plenty of ice.
  • Add the gin and the spice-infused vermouth to the glass.
  • Top with pear cider, stirring gently to combine.
  • Garnish with a twist of lemon peel and a sprig of rosemary or thyme for an aromatic touch.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the warming, spiced flavors of the Spiced Pear Negroni!
