Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz pear nectar
  • 1 oz ginger honey simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz lemon juice
  • Ginger ale to taste
  • Fresh pear slice for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick optional, for garnish
  • Ginger skewer optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, pear nectar, ginger honey simple syrup, and lemon juice. Fill the shaker halfway with ice.
  • Secure the lid and shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled and the shaker feels cold to the touch.
  • Add a few ice cubes to two chilled rocks glass.
  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and top with a splash of ginger ale.
  • Garnish with a slice of fresh pear, a cinnamon stick, and a ginger skewer if desired. Serve immediately.
