Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 0.75 oz ginger syrup
  • 0.25 oz lime juice
  • 1.5 fresh figs
  • 2 oz soda water to top
  • More figs and thyme for garnish

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh figs thoroughly with a muddler to release their juices and flavors.
  • Add the gin, ginger syrup, lime juice, and ice cubes to the shaker.
  • Shake well for 5-8 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.
  • Using a tea strainer and the shaker’s built-in strainer, double strain the mixture into cocktail glasses filled with crushed ice.
  • Top the cocktail with soda water and give it a quick swizzle to mix.
