Enjoy a refreshing Watermelon Martini this summer. Perfect for cooling down. Try it today.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka use a good quality vodka for the best taste
  • 2 ounces watermelon puree
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Fresh watermelon chunks for muddling and garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Watermelon Puree:

  • Cut fresh watermelon into chunks and remove any seeds.
  • Blend the watermelon chunks in a blender until smooth.
  • Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp, if desired.

Muddle the Watermelon:

  • Place a few chunks of fresh watermelon in a cocktail shaker.
  • Use a muddler to gently crush the watermelon chunks to release their juice.

Mix the Cocktail:

  • Add the vodka, watermelon puree, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup to the cocktail shaker with the muddled watermelon.
  • Fill the shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.

Strain and Serve:

  • Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish:

  • Garnish with a small chunk of fresh watermelon on the rim of the glass or float a small piece of watermelon in the drink.
