Strawberry Tequila Soda

Let me recommend a refreshing summer drink that perfectly mixes the sweet tang of strawberries with the boldness of tequila, topped off with a splash of tonic for that essential fizz. This Strawberry Tequila Soda is a favorite for its simple yet flavorful profile, which combines fresh, muddled strawberries and a kick of lime to enhance the natural zest. It’s the perfect choice for cooling down on a hot day or kicking off an evening with friends.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Muddle the Strawberries: In a shaker, muddle the strawberries to release their juice and flavor.
  • Add the Tequila and Lime Juice: Pour the tequila and fresh lime juice into the shaker with the muddled strawberries.
  • Shake: Add ice to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine all the flavors.
  • Strain: Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice, making sure to leave the muddled strawberries behind.
  • Top with Tonic Water: Gently pour the tonic water over the strained mixture. This will add a nice fizz and lightness to your drink.
  • Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a strawberry or a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Optionally, you can add a few slices of strawberry to the drink for added presentation.
