Spice up your summer with a Jalapeño Watermelon Margarita. Try this easy recipe for a bold, refreshing cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 4 jalapeño slices
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce triple sec
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 3 ounces watermelon juice
  • Salt for rim optional, for rimming the glass
  • Watermelon slice and jalapeño slice for garnish optional

Instructions

Prepare the Glass:

  • If you like a salted rim, run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it in salt. Set aside.

Muddle the Jalapeño:

  • In a cocktail shaker, add the 4 jalapeño slices. Muddle them gently to release their flavor.

Mix the Ingredients:

  • Add the lime juice, triple sec, tequila, and fresh watermelon juice to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15-20 seconds, until the mixture is well chilled.

Strain and Serve:

  • Fill the prepared glass with ice. Strain the margarita mixture into the glass.

Garnish:

  • Garnish with a watermelon slice and a jalapeño slice if desired.

Enjoy:
