Ingredients
- 1 ripe kiwi peeled and sliced
- 1/2 oz sugar
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1 oz kiwi juice blended kiwi, strained
- 4 oz champagne or sparkling wine chilled
- Kiwi slices for garnish
- mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Kiwi Juice:
- Peel and slice a ripe kiwi.
- Blend the kiwi slices until smooth.
- Strain the mixture to get pure kiwi juice.
Sugar Rim (Optional):
- If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can rim your champagne glass with sugar.
- To do this, moisten the rim of the glass with a slice of kiwi or a bit of orange juice.
- Dip the rim into a plate of sugar to coat it evenly.
Mix the Juices:
- In a small mixing glass, combine 1 ounce of freshly squeezed orange juice and 1 ounce of kiwi juice.
