  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the grapefruit juice, lime juice, tequila, and maple syrup.
  • Shake vigorously until the cocktail is thoroughly chilled.
  • Pour the granulated maple sugar onto a plate. Take one half of the grapefruit slice and rub it around the rim of a cocktail glass. Dip the rim into the maple sugar to coat it evenly.
  • Strain the shaken Maple Paloma into the prepared glass.
  • Top the cocktail with sparkling water, adding a fizzy finish.
  • Garnish with the remaining grapefruit slice and enjoy immediately.
