Ingredients

  • 2 oz Aged rum
  • 1 barspoon Apple cider syrup
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Garnish: Orange twist

Instructions

  • In a mixing glass, combine the aged rum, apple cider syrup, and Angostura bitters.
  • Add ice to the mixing glass and stir until the mixture is well-chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass filled with a large ice cube or a few smaller ones.
  • Express the oil from an orange twist over the drink by holding the twist over the glass and giving it a gentle squeeze. Drop the twist into the drink for added flavor and aroma.
