Ingredients

  • 1 ounce cognac
  • 1/2 ounce orange liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • Pomegranate juice
  • Champagne
  • Sugar for rimming
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Rim your champagne flute with sugar by dipping the rim in lemon juice and then into sugar spread on a plate.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice, and a splash of pomegranate juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared champagne flute.
  • Top with champagne.
  • Garnish with pomegranate seeds.
