Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces gin
  • 3 ounces grapefruit juice
  • 2- inch grapefruit peel
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme plus extra for garnish
  • Simple syrup optional, to taste
  • Tonic water

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the gin, grapefruit juice, grapefruit peel, and fresh thyme sprigs to release their flavors.
  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, add simple syrup to taste.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake briefly to mix and chill the ingredients.
  • Strain the mixture into your desired glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with tonic water to your liking.
  • Garnish with additional thyme sprigs. Serve immediately and enjoy!
