Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces crème de cacao
  • 1.5 ounces peppermint vodka
  • 2 ounces half & half
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 0.5 ounce chocolate syrup
  • Crushed candy cane for rimming

Instructions

  • Begin by decorating your martini glass. Pour a small amount of chocolate syrup onto a plate, dip the rim of the glass into it, and then dip into the crushed candy cane to coat.
  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the crème de cacao, peppermint vodka, half & half, cocoa powder, and chocolate syrup.
  • Shake the mixture vigorously to blend all ingredients and chill the cocktail.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust the chocolate or peppermint flavor to your liking, if desired.
  • Strain the cocktail into your prepared martini glass.
